This Luminous Power Backup Combo brings together the largest inverter in the Eco Volt Neo range – the Neo 1550 (1400 VA / 1176 W) – with a Red Charge RC 18000 150 Ah tall tubular battery and the TX100L trolley. It comfortably runs four or five fans, six to eight lights, a TV, a router and a computer at the same time, and has enough headroom to handle a refrigerator compressor's start-up surge.

Pure sine wave output gives the same clean power as the mains, so laptops, TVs, routers and modern appliances run without the hum, heat and stress caused by square or modified wave inverters. The tall tubular battery is taller with a smaller footprint than a short tubular one, so check your available height before ordering. The trolley lifts both units off the floor, away from water, dust and mopping, and lets you move the set for cleaning without disconnecting anything.

Before You Order – How Long It Will Run

1) Does "1550" mean 1550 VA?

No. 1550 is a model name. This inverter delivers 1400 VA with a 1176 W maximum load – the largest in the Eco Volt Neo range. Plan your backup using these figures, not the model number.

2) What can I run on it?

At the same time, it can typically run 4 – 5 ceiling fans, 6 – 8 LED lights, a TV, a Wi-Fi router and a laptop or desktop. It can also run a refrigerator if you switch off 1 or 2 fans while the fridge is on. It will not run a geyser, AC, iron or immersion rod.

3) How long will it run during a power cut?

With 150 Ah, you have roughly 1,150 Wh of usable energy – about 3 to 4 hours at a moderate 300 – 400 W load, or about 1 hour if you run close to the full 1176 W. Running lighter loads gives longer backup and avoids deep-discharging the battery, which helps it last longer.

4) What is the difference between tall tubular and short tubular batteries?

Mainly the shape. A tall tubular battery is taller with a smaller footprint, while a short tubular is lower and wider for the same capacity. Both do the same job – check the height you have available before ordering.
