Anchor by Panasonic Fancy Angle Lamp Holder (39672) is a self-contained, angled bulb holder for surface mounting on walls and ceilings. Its round base with a flared skirt fits directly over a standard round junction box, so no separate modular plate or frame is needed. The fixed angle points the bulb outward and downward, directing light over mirrors, staircases, walkways and reading corners.

Spring-loaded brass contacts hold B22 bayonet bulbs firmly and stand up to repeated bulb changes. The glossy white polycarbonate body is flame-resistant and UV-stabilised to resist yellowing. It is rated 6A at 240V AC and works with standard LED, CFL and incandescent B22 bulbs – LED bulbs are recommended for lower heat and longer life.

Recommendations & Ideal Use-Cases

Where this fits best

Staircases & Corridors: Angled light down onto steps and walkways
Vanity Mirrors: Focused light over bathroom or dressing mirrors (away from water splashes)
Reading Corners: Directed light for reading nooks
Covered Balconies & Entrances: Simple wall lighting in sheltered areas

Installation Guidelines

Power Off: Switch off the supply at the MCB and confirm with a tester
Connect the Wires: Connect the live and neutral wires to the holder's terminals
Set the Direction: Turn the round base so the bulb points where you want the light
Fix the Base: Screw it to the junction box through the 2 screw holes (screws sold separately)
Fit the Bulb & Test: Insert a B22 bulb and restore power

Electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician.

1) Are mounting screws included?

No. Your electrician will use screws that suit your junction box or wall anchors.

2) Which bulbs can I use?

Any B22 bayonet bulb – LED, CFL or incandescent. LED bulbs are recommended, as they run cooler and help the holder last longer.

3) Can I change the angle after fitting?

The holder is a single fixed piece, so the head itself doesn't turn. To change the direction, loosen the two base screws, rotate the whole holder to the position you want, and tighten it again.

4) Do I need a modular plate to install it?

No. Its round base mounts directly onto a standard round wall or ceiling junction box – no modular plate or frame is needed.

5) Can it be used outdoors?

It is best for indoor and covered areas. Avoid places where it is exposed to rain or direct water splashes.
