Futura FS 3120 HM Hand Carved Series Single Bowl Sink is a large, deep kitchen sink made for busy family kitchens. Unlike pressed sinks, each Hand Carved sink is made from thick SS 304 (18/8) steel sheets that are shaped and welded by hand, giving straight, vertical walls and tight corners. This makes the most of the bowl floor and gives the sink a sharp, modern look.

The 29" x 16" bowl is 9" deep, with plenty of room for pressure cookers, kadhais and large pots while keeping splashes in the sink. The brushed satin finish resists fingerprints and hides fine scratches, and sound-dampening pads underneath reduce the noise of running water and utensils. Three pre-drilled holes on the rim take the included faucet, soap dispenser and RO faucet, and a basket waste coupling is also supplied, so the sink comes ready to fit. It is designed for top-mount (surface) or flush-mount installation and needs a base cabinet at least 33" – 36" wide.

1) What makes a "Hand Carved" sink different?

Hand Carved sinks are made from flat sheets of thick steel that are shaped and welded by hand, instead of being pressed from one sheet by a machine. This gives tighter corners and straighter walls, so the bowl holds more and looks sharper and more modern.

2) Are the tight corners hard to clean?

No. The corners have a soft radius, so a sponge or cloth can reach right into them, preventing dirt and grease build-up.

3) Can it be installed under the counter?

This model is designed for top-mount (surface) or flush-mount installation. Top-mount rests the rim on the countertop, while flush-mount sets the rim level with the counter for a sleeker look. Ask your installer which suits your countertop.

4) Can I fit a water purifier (RO) tap?

Yes – an RO faucet (FA-051S) is included in the box. The sink rim has three pre-drilled holes for the main faucet, soap dispenser and RO faucet, so you can connect your water purifier line directly.

5) Will SS 304 rust?

SS 304 (18/8) contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which makes it highly resistant to rust and corrosion in everyday kitchen use. Wipe the sink dry after use and avoid leaving steel wool or wet iron vessels in it, as these can leave rust-coloured marks on the surface.

6) What accessories come with the sink?

The sink comes with four matching Futura accessories: a kitchen faucet (FA-03C), a soap dispenser (FA-04), an RO faucet (FA-051S) for your water purifier, and a basket waste coupling (FA-07) for the drain. Connecting pipes for the faucets and drain are not included; your plumber will fit them.
